Krysto 5-Stage RO Purifier User Guide

🌱 Krysto Sustainability Promise

Our water purification engineering focuses on absolute purity without mindless waste. We highly encourage all our families to collect and repurpose RO drain water for a greener tomorrow.

💧 The 5 Purification Stages

📋 Pre-Installation Checklist

Please ensure the following plumbing and electrical requirements are ready at the site before our service technician arrives to set up your Krysto RO system:

🔌 1. Power Supply

A standard 3-pin, 220-240V AC power socket within 1.5 metres of the machine location.

🚰 2. Water Source

A source water line tap within 1 metre. Ideal incoming pressure should be between 0.3 to 3.0 kg/cm².

📐 3. Space & Mounting

Adequate wall or counter space away from direct sunlight, freezing areas, or hot kitchen stoves.

🌱 4. Drainage & Reuse

An open drain or sink within 2 metres. We recommend setting up a clean bucket to collect and repurpose the drain water!

🚀 First-Time Commissioning (Flushing)

  1. Turn on the water feed valve and plug in the electricity.
  2. Let the storage tank fill completely (approx. 45–60 minutes).
  3. Discard the entire first tank of water completely to clear manufacturing element residue.
  4. Allow the tank to fill a second time. The water is now perfectly safe for consumption.

⚙️ Routine Operations & Eco-Care

Fully Automatic Control: The unit automatically restarts when water levels drop and shuts off once the storage tank is completely full.

🌱 Every Drop Counts: For every litre of pure water produced, your Krysto RO system safely separates concentrated impurities into the reject line. Do not let this water go down the drain. Direct the reject tube into a collection bucket. It is perfectly suited for household mopping, cleaning utensils, flushing toilets, or watering your garden plants. Our installation technicians will happily help you route your drain tube into a collection container upon request.

🛠️ Maintenance & Filter Schedule

Component Replacement Cycle
Sediment & Carbon Pre-filters (Stages 1, 2, 3) Every 9 months
RO Membrane (Stage 4) 12 to 18 months depending on water quality and flow rate
Post-Carbon Filter/Mineral cartridge (Stage 5) Every 9 months
Tank Sanitisation Every 9 months

Frequently Asked Questions

Low water flow usually indicates either clogged pre-filters (Sediment/Carbon) reducing pressure, or low air pressure inside your RO storage tank. Check if filters are due for a replacement.
Not at all! The reject water contains concentrated hardness and total dissolved solids (TDS) filtered out from your drinking water. While it is not fit for drinking or cooking, it is an excellent resource for heavy-duty household chores. You can seamlessly repurpose it to wash your car, mop balconies and floors, or sustain your home garden.
